FImpage of pig holding an alphabet signinally, I am proud to present the first of the all-new Alphabetti books.

- Gentle learning curve: Teaches the alphabet one letter at a time (except for the first book, which starts with several letters).  This way, a child doesn't have to spend months memorizing the entire alphabet before learning how to use it.

- Easier than before: The new Alphabetti books now start with the alphabet letters that are EASIEST to learn.  (The old Alphabetti books used a different system that, unfortunately, started with some of the harder-to-learn letters.) (I did not know this at the time.)

- Instant application: Children start reading as soon as they start learning the alphabet, as opposed to learning the alphabet and THEN learning how to read.

- Less frustration: Children only have to read the "big red words" (which only contain letters that they have learned so far).  This builds confidence and teaches children to ENJOY reading.

- Starts with the lowercase letters:  Lowercase letters comprise 95% of all written texts, and are (contrary to popular belief) easier to learn AND easier to write.

- Matching activity sheets: Improves retention by helping to "store" the letters/words into long term memory.  Also helps develop the muscles and motor skills necessary for handwriting (which is taught later).

The OLD Alphabetti books, if you are using them (or if you have an older child who needs more reading practice), are still available here.
