Problems downloading and "opening" our materials can usually be solved with one of the following "fixes" --

Upgrade your browser

This fixes most problems people may have with opening our files.  Why?  Because older browsers sometimes have a problem opening big files.  Upgrades are FREE and can be downloaded with the following links:

Firefox (Windows)

Internet Explorer (Windows)

Safari (Mac)

Our books and worksheets are in "PDF" format, which requires that you have something called a "PDF reader."

Most computers already have a PDF reader, but in case yours doesn't (or maybe the PDF reader needs to be re-installed or upgraded) here are links to the two most popular PDF readers.  Both are FREE.

Try a different computer

Sometimes older computers just don't seem to want to open big PDF files.

If all else fails:

1. Open (click) the file that you want to download, and ignore the fact that it looks "blank."
2. Using the "File" menu at the top of your browser, click the "Save As" option.
3. Save the file to your "Desktop" (or whevever you want to store the file), and make sure that the file type is "PDF"
4. Start Adobe Acrobat or Foxit Reader.
5. Choose File > Open then go to the location where the file is saved and choose ‘Open’.
