So that you can get a "feel" for Progressive Phonics, here is a collection of sample pages. At the end of each book-sample is a list of words taught in that book.

Handwriting worksheets
A sampling of handwriting worksheets for several different phonics books -- each Progressive Phonics book has a matching set of worksheets to help a student practice the words learned in the book.
Samples of the beginner phonics books:
Book 1: Short Vowel "A"
Teaches short vowel "A" and left-to-right reading patterns. Also teaches phoneme awareness, which is the awareness that words are composed of a series of individual sounds.
Book 2: Short Vowel "E"
Teaches short vowel "E" and continues to teach phoneme awareness and left-to-right reading patterns.
Book 3: Short Vowel "I"
Teaches short vowel "I" and continues to teach phoneme awareness and left-to-right reading patterns.
Book 4: Short Vowel "O"
Teaches short vowel "O" and continues to teach phoneme awareness and left-to-right reading patterns.
Book 5: Short Vowel "U"
Teaches short vowel "U" and continues to teach phoneme awareness and left-to-right reading patterns.
Samples of the intermediate books:
Book 6: Beginning Blends
Teaches the twenty most common consonant blends (bl, sl, br, etc.) and digraphs (st, th, ch) that go at the beginning of words.
Book 7: Introduction to Long Vowels
Teaches the easiest long vowel forms, such as go, no, so, he, she, me, moon, spoon, good, cook, sky, by, my, etc.
Book 8: Happy Endings
Teaches the twenty-seven most common consonant blends (-nd, --nt, -nk, -ck, -ct, etc.) that go at the end of words. Also teaches "L" controlled vowels (all, fall, cold, bull, etc.).
Book 9: Intermediate Long Vowels
Introduces long vowels that are formed with a "silent e" (gate, bone, like, etc.) and with double-vowels (wait, coat, etc.). Also teaches the difference between a consonant and a vowel.
Book 10: Long Vowel Variations
Teaches the most common long vowel variations (bone vs. gone; team vs. head vs. great, etc.) and gives lots of practice recognizing the different long vowel forms.
Samples of the advanced books:
Book 11: Intro to "W" and "R" controlled Vowels
Teaches the "R" (star, for, bird, fur, etc.) and "W" (how, cow, saw, few, etc.) controlled vowels, as well as the -er suffix (mother, ever, etc.) and the "ou" digraph (count, our, etc.).
Book 12: Plurals and Advanced "R" controlled Vowels
Teaches plurals and the long-vowel "R" controlled vowels (stare, care, more, fire, etc.)
Book 13: Question Words and Advanced "W" controlled Vowels
This book teaches question words (who, what, where, etc.) and the beginning-of-word "W" controlled vowels (wore, war, water. watch, etc.).
Book 14: Advanced long vowels and intro to syllables
Teaches the "gh" long vowel (night, sight, etc) and "gh" as a consonant (cough, laugh, etc.) Also teaches the ie/ei variations and an intro to syllables. Not released yet.
Book 15: More Syllables and intro to punctuation
Teaches the rules of syllables and just enough punctuation to get children "up to speed" as independent readers. Not released yet.
